Hardinge Group Announces Bridgeport CONQUEST V1000 New Product Release

Hardinge is pleased to announce the release of the Bridgeport CONQUEST V1000 Vertical Machining Center. This new generation machine is a fully digital, high- quality machine tool, designed to achieve maximum capacity and performance in the job shop, OEM, aerospace, automotive and power generation industries and many other manufacturing sectors.  

Manufactured to the highest industry standards, the Bridgeport CONQUEST V1000 is packed with features to meet and exceed the requirements of the demanding metal cutting market. This machine provides very fast rapid traverse of 1692 inches per minute on X and Y axes and 1417 inches per minute on the Z-axis and a highly sophisticated yet user-friendly Mitsubishi M70V control with NAVI MILL Programming and 10.4” LCD. The machine features a powerful direct-drive 20HP, 10,000 RPM (12,000 and 15,000 RPM options) and spindle motor with 75.2 ft-lbs of torque a 30-tool swing-arm automatic tool changer. The machine is designed with utstanding rigidity. Large, robust 45mm ball screws are provided on all axes and 35mm linear guides are standard on the X-axis with 45 size guides on the Y and Z-axes.

Axis travels are 40" (1020mm) on the X-axis; 24" (610mm) on the Y-axis; 24" (610mm) on the Z-axis.  Options include part probe, tool probe, X, Y, Z linear scales,  coolant through spindle, 4th and 5th (4+1) axis drive package, automatic power shut off, spare m-codes, chip conveyor,  and auto door.

The CONQUEST V1000 is available for delivery late October 2014.  Not all options will be available immediately.  Please contact your local distributor to verify what options are currently available.
