HFO/Trident Open House April 20th at Nashua Community College in New Hampshire

NASHUA, NH – HFO/Trident invites New England manufactures to attend an Open House at the recently expanded Nashua Community College in Nashua, New Hampshire. The event takes place on Wednesday, April 20th and goes from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

“New England manufacturers are not only interested in seeing new technology, they also tell us that they need skilled operators,” begins Nick Schuchardt, President of HFO/Trident. “So we’ve partnered with Nashua Community College to host a regional Open House, which addresses both of these needs.”

Attendees will be offered a complete tour of Nashua Community College, starting with their well-equipped Machine Lab which was recently expanded by 3,000 sq. ft. and features 8 Haas CNC machine tools, 6 of which are brand new. Among the new additions are 3 Haas ST-10 compact CNC Turning Centers and 3 Haas Mini Mills. 2 additional Haas CNC machine tools occupy the same space and include a Haas VF-1 vertical machining center and Haas SL-20 CNC Turning Center.

The machine lab expansion also features a metrology lab, where a brand new Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machine is placed and will be demonstrated during the HFO/Trident event. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet with a full complement of tooling, accessories and software suppliers, which will be on hand with table top displays.

“Another unique twist to our Open House at Nashua Community College is lunch”, adds David Barber, Marketing Manager for the Morris Group’s Haas Tower. “Lunch will be prepared and served by students enrolled in the College’s Culinary Arts Program, how awesome is that?”
