Morris Midwest to Exhibit CNC Machinery at Wisconsin Manufacturing and Technology Show

The regional machine tool distributor will exhibit new technology in its 2400-square-foot display space at area’s largest metalw

Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will display and demonstrate CNC machine tools from Okuma, Tsugami, and Hardinge Group in its 2400-square-foot anchor booth at the Wisconsin Manufacturing and Technology Show (WMTS), October 6-8 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin.  In addition to CNC machinery, the regional machine tool distributor supplies tooling, accessories, software and customer support services to manufacturers in Wisconsin and surrounding states.  

“We look forward to participating in WMTS every other year,” states Corey B. Johnson, President of Morris Midwest.  “The regional manufacturing community actively participates in it and is always eager to learn about new technology.”

This year, Morris Midwest will display and demonstrate 11 CNC machines. From Okuma, the Affordable Excellence models GENOS M560-V VMC and GENOS L300-MYW horizontal lathe with Y-axis will be displayed along with sophisticated horiztontal lathes including the Okuma MULTUS U4000 Multitasking Machine with ATC and LB3000EX-BBMY Turning Center with 1000m bed length. The high production Okuma MA-500H-II Horizontal Machining Center and 4-axis, twin turret LU 3000EX-BB-2SC with 1000m bed length will also be displayed. 

From Tsugami, Morris Midwest will display two machines, B0205-II and B0326-II, that can be changed from bar fed Swiss-style operation to chucker mode easily. The flexible B0 Series platform from Tsugami is ideally suited for both high production jobs and short runs of highly complex parts. 

Hardinge Group, Inc. machines will include the new Bridgeport CONQUEST V1000 VMC with Mitsubishi control and Hardinge CONQUEST H51 "Collet Ready Spindle" Turning Center, also with Mitusbishi control.  The Hardinge QUEST CHNC42 Quick Changeover Turning Center with interchangeable top plates will round out the exhibit.

Visitors to Morris Midwest’s booth, number 713, can also view some of the powerful apps free from the Okuma APP Store for use on Okuma machines and the Okuma THINC ® -OSP control.
