(Twinsburg, Ohio) 2011 was another successful year for the Haas - HFO Midwest / POC Industries KRA series kart team. We finished with two championships: one in the TAG Heavy class and one in the TAG sportsman class. Haas - HFO Midwest / PCO Industries swept the TAG heavy class in points, finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. We had a combined twenty wins, eleven 2nd places and nine 3rd place finishes. We had 3 DNF where we were in the lead but had mechanical problems and cost us a win.

HAAS - HFO Midwest / POC Industries had two entree's in this years Robo Pong/ Dan Wheldon Cup 200 lap endurance race. The Endurance race is the one of the most prestigious kart races in the world. Drivers from the Indy series, Indy light, and USAC competed along with top kart drivers in this year's race. There were 42 teams consisting of two to three drivers per team.

The race started well; the HAAS - HFO Midwest / POC Industries teams were in 5th and 6th place at lap 100. Team one suffered a front spindle bearing failure around lap 130 that forced a extra pit stop and dropped them back to the 20th position. They managed to battle back and finish a respectable 13th . The Second team ran a flawless race and finished 9th.
